Another cover on Latitude mag: over the last couple of months I’ve had fun photographing Raewyn Hillier. She is a very interesting woman, recently seen with husband John on a ‘Country Calendar’ episode featuring their high country hunting / guiding business. I also photographed her working with Erewhon’s clydesdale horse team, riding her Harley and working at her day job as a flooring consultant in Christchurch. It’s worth buying the mag just to read this article and see my photos of her!

Latitude is a wonderful “Canterbury” magazine and this article and the beautiful photography was one out of the box.
Raewyn certainly has a wonderfully balanced “Kiwi” lifestyle, the best of all worlds!
The New Zealand high country is a very special place, having grown up on a High Country sheep and cattle Station and now living in the city, I appreciate every opportunity I have, to spend time there now.
I look forward to opening the next issue of “Latitude” and the promise of more wonderful photography!
Rowan, thanks for your nice comments, it was an enjoyable assignment. Raewyn breaks a few stereotypes doesn’t she? Yes we do have some pretty special country back here but don’t tell too many people about it!
