Perspectives Mid Canterbury is a 64 page hardcover A5 sized book of landscape photographs around the Mid Canterbury region of the South Island, with a recommended retail price of $29.
Mid Canterbury has diverse scenery. Half the county is in the foothills and beyond; untouched high country lakes and mountains. In addition to the vast landscapes I photograph images of the detail within, from an old barbwire-encrusted strainer post to patterns in the land only visible during a gentle hot air balloon ride. Crop farming is a big part of Mid Canterbury and the abstract patterns produce mesmerising images.
This book is a perfect size for the tourist to take home, or for locals to mail to friends who are unlucky enough not to live here - show them what they are missing, or if they are ex-residents make them homesick!
