Prints
I make each print to order. Prints can be made on fine art cotton rag papers - the surface and tactile feel is wonderful - or canvas. My printing process, pigment inks on archival media, is as good as it gets today. Some people call this process giclee printing.
Prints on Fine Art Paper
Prints are made on 100% cotton-rag art papers from Hahnemühle or Crane. These have a lovely feel; textured and heavy. The image is centered within the sheet, leaving a generous border for framing. This is an ideal option for a smaller print. I don't generally frame prints because the enormous range of moldings available is best left to a dedicated framer to organise. Options start at A4 (8x12") $75, A3 (12x16") $130. Larger sizes available, please inquire.
Prints On Canvas
A textured cotton canvas is printed with pigment inks and then stretched over a wooden frame (‘gallery wrapped’). The finished print is laminated to provide a fade-free, moisture resistant canvas. The result is ready to hang, made to the highest archival standards. The texture of the canvas combined with the best print making equipment available produces photography with impact. Options start at around $400.
Gallery representation
If you are in Methven please visit the Icehouse Gallery. I always have some prints on display there. In Christchurch the Bryce Gallery on Riccarton Rd. usually has some of my prints on display.
